Applicants must have attained a High School graduation diploma, G.E.D. Certificate or have completed 2 years of high school and must be at least 16 years of age.

G.E.D. Equivalency Test                                                                                      Those applicants who wish to qualify through the G.E.D. test will be offered advice by the Admissions Office.  This test is available to any applicant who is 18 years of age or older.  A grade of 37 or higher is equivalent of 2 years of high school.

To be eligible for graduation, every student must maintain a satisfactory grade in class and clinical practices, complete all assigned projects and maintain a passing average in theory.  They must also have been in attendance for a total of 1500 clock hours for the Cosmetology course, or 300 hours for the instructor training course.  All balances for tuition or other must be paid in full before a student can graduate.  Students will not be allowed to clock their final 50 hours until all balances are paid in full.

Theft will not be tolerated (school products, money, personal items, kit items etc.)  Misconduct towards staff or fellow students will not be tolerated.  Any student acting in anything other than a professional manner will be dropped.  Physical or verbal abuse (profanity) will not be tolerated.  Use or possession of drugs or alcohol will be grounds for immediate dismissal.  Also attendance violations, altering clock in or out time (your own or other students), cheating on tests, and vandalizing school property or equipment will be grounds for dismissal.  Any violation of school policy or any rule listed or added at a later date may be considered grounds for immediate expulsion.
